REPARATIONS
SUNDAY
“And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty. Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the Lord thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.”
-Deuteronomy 15:13 -14
WHAT IS REPARATIONS SUNDAY?

THE MISSION
The Mission of Reparations Sunday is to connect churches and believers with those engaged in advocating for reparations for the Descendants of Chattel Slavery in America.
THE WHY
The church is the cornerstone of the community, but over time the church has lost its significance in the lives of generations of people, particularly young people and those who are socially conscious. This demographic is very engaged in current affairs and social justice issues but find very little support and solace in the arms of the church.

THE HOW
Reparations Sunday works alongside churches, believers and advocates to pass local, state and national reparations initiatives for the Descendants of Chattel Slavery in America.
